Frequently asked questions

What is the cost? The Inclusion Benefits All Project is free for participating schools. There is no cost and no obligation to make a donation.

How do I join my school? Click on the link below or here to start. Ensure you provide a School's Project Leader (please make sure if you are providing another person's contact details that they agree).

What is the Project Leader's role? The Project Leader is a school staff member who will be the contact person for the Inclusion Benefits All Project. They will receive resources (via email and physical resources), support teachers to provide lessons and provide feedback data. They may also share your schools participation in the Inclusion Benefits All Project such as utilising the school website, social media, or online remote learning and communication platform posts (eg Seesaw, ClassDojo etc), thereby breaking down barriers in your wider community.

Does the Project Leader have to conduct all the lessons? No. The Project Leader's role is to support teachers and be a contact point for the Project. They may conduct all or none of the lessons.

What happens if the Project Leader is no longer at our school? No problem! Please just email us who your schools new Project Leader will be moving forward. It is important to let us know if there is a change to ensure the sustainability of the Project.

What happens after I join my school? We will then contact your School Project Leader to provide your school's Inclusion Benefits All Project resources via email as well as physical resources delivered by hand or via post (free of charge). Participating schools are asked to provide some basic project data here following completion of lessons. The School Project Leader receives an email the following year as a reminder to pass the resources onto the next Stage 2 classes (and Stage 6) and again the following year and so on.

Why are there 2 Stages (for example Stage 2 and Stage 6)? To ensure your school's current Stage 6, 5, 4 and 3 students don't miss out on the Project.

Do we have to continue to have lessons for Stage 6? Once Stage 2 students become your Stage 6 students, there is no requirement to have another lesson with these students. However, a Stage 6 lesson would be a good refresher, these student's developing minds bring new perspectives at Stage 6. Also, new students to your school would have the chance at their first lesson.

Can my school lessons be other Stages? Yes. Stage 2 and Stage 6 are suggested classes for the Project. Different Stages may suit your school, for example Stage 1 and Stage 5.

Your Pilot school is a Public School. What if my school is a Private School? What if my child is home-schooled? No problem! Please feel free to join up.

Can a High School participate? Of course! We would love you to share your lesson plan/s to help other High Schools participate.

I already have a copy of When You Get To Know Me... Can my school still participate? Of course!

How can I make a donation? There is no obligation to provide a donation, but if you would like to please click here

What does my donation cover? $3.20 covers postage to schools anywhere in Australia, $8-$12 covers resources printing costs.

Why is the resources printing cost a range ($8-$12)? This is due to recent cost increases of paper resources. Some resources were printed prior to these increases.

I have a question not covered here. How should I seek my answer? Please click here to get in contact.
